Consultation
Next, you will meet with your doctor for a consultation to discuss your health concerns, symptoms, and possible treatment options. This initial visit allows your chiropractor to better understand your condition, learn about your goals, and determine how chiropractic care can best support your needs.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Lacey will complete a thorough chiropractic examination, which may include testing your reflexes, range of motion, and flexibility. Additional neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical assessments may also be performed as needed. Nothing will be done without your prior consent, and you will be informed of each step along the way.
X-Ray Imaging
Depending on your specific condition, we may recommend diagnostic imaging to better evaluate your spine and overall health. These images help guide the development of a safe and effective treatment plan and allow us to identify any underlying spinal concerns. Many patients find it insightful to review their images, as it provides a clearer understanding of their alignment and areas of dysfunction.
Report of Findings
Once your information, examination findings, and any imaging are complete, we will review everything in detail and provide a clear report of findings. This is an opportunity to ask questions such as how care can help you, what your recommended visit frequency may be, and what your expected investment in care will look like.
After carefully reviewing your health history, goals, exam results, and any imaging, Dr. Lacey will outline personalized recommendations and let you know if additional care with other providers is needed. A customized treatment and wellness plan will then be presented based on your specific needs.
In most cases, this report is shared at your next visit, allowing time to thoroughly evaluate your exam findings and imaging results before making recommendations.
Comprehensive Care
After reviewing your examination findings and any imaging results, we will go over everything with you in detail. Once the findings have been explained and your questions are answered, treatment may begin based on your personalized care plan. This may include chiropractic adjustments and other supportive therapies, with a continued focus on your comfort so you can share any concerns at any time.
